Sustainable Energy Solutions

The Company is responsible for the supply of water, and treatment of wastewater, for the broader metropolitan area. This project involved undertaking a detailed assessment of the energy efficiency of four aeration blower units located at the companies Wastewater Treatment Plant.  The aeration blowers provide air for the wastewater treatment process and consume significant amounts of electricity. A number of energy efficiency options were identified and assessed, and a comprehensive report containing recommendations provided to the company.
